YOUR DATA & YOUR CHOICES
Privacy policy
Effective date: 27 October 2026
This policy explains how Meme Publisher (Terenval Meme Publisher), its optional publishing worker and this website use information. Contact for the Terenval project: agataromansky@gmail.com.
1. What the application does
Meme Publisher assembles videos from media you import, saves edits and exports, and sends videos to accounts you authorise. It uses YouTube API Services for YouTube connections, uploads and video statistics. Instagram is an optional, separate connection.
2. Information accessed and stored
- Your media and publishing instructions: imported video and audio, previews, exported MP4 files, titles, descriptions, tags, audience declarations, schedules, visibility settings and publishing status.
- YouTube data: the connected channel's name returned during connection testing, IDs of uploaded videos, upload state and video view, like and comment counts requested in Results. The app does not retrieve comment text.
- Authorisation information: OAuth access and refresh tokens, client configuration and temporary upload session information. Your Google password is entered only on Google's pages and is not requested or stored by Meme Publisher.
- Optional Instagram data: the professional account ID and username, access token, publishing limits, media/container IDs and publication status. Public video links and captions are supplied to Meta to publish the video.
- Reports and support: aggregate clicks/installs you import from CSV, report exports, and information you choose to send in a support email. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, private security information.
3. Why data is used
Data is used to provide the features you initiate: render videos, identify the authorised channel, process your queue, upload content and retrieve publication results. youtube.upload authorises uploads; youtube.readonly supports channel verification and reading video statistics. Google user data is not used for advertising targeting, sold, or used to train general-purpose AI models.
Meme Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Where information goes
Desktop media and queue data are stored in your workspace. On Windows, the app stores credentials in Windows Credential Manager. If you choose server publishing, the administrator transfers the required workspace, exports and authorisation information to that server; server credentials are supplied through restricted environment configuration. Hosting administrators with appropriate access can access server data.
When you publish to YouTube, the exported video and its metadata are transmitted to Google. When you publish to Instagram, the caption and public MP4 URL are transmitted to Meta, which retrieves the video. Anyone with a public media URL may be able to download that file while it remains hosted. The informational website does not receive your OAuth callback or tokens.
Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law or as necessary to protect security and legal rights. Operational service providers such as hosting and email providers process the information needed to provide those services. We do not share Google user data for unrelated marketing.
5. Retention and deletion
Your desktop workspace remains under your control. Local media, queue records and exported reports remain until you remove them. In version 0.3.0, the YouTube disconnect/delete action attempts Google revocation and removes the main credential, upload sessions, cached channel information, YouTube queue/history and API statistics from this workspace. It preserves original media and project edits. If revocation fails, it tells you to revoke access in your Google Account. It does not delete separately exported reports or videos already published to a platform. Separate server credentials, copies, backups and hosted MP4 files must also be removed by their administrator.
For data held on a Terenval-managed server, request deletion at agataromansky@gmail.com. Identify the channel/account and the data to remove without including secrets. We will verify authority using proportionate information, stop related queued publishing and delete the applicable active copies within 7 days of a verified request. Administrators must include backups in the deletion process. Platform-hosted videos are managed separately in YouTube Studio or Instagram.
Cached YouTube API statistics and remote job information expire after 29 days unless successfully refreshed through the API. Cleanup runs when the workspace opens, results are displayed or the worker runs; if the program is closed, cleanup occurs at next launch before display. Imported clicks/installs have a separate source and do not extend this cache lifetime. Statistics show their fetch timestamp. Externally saved CSV reports and backups require separate removal by their owner.
6. Revoke Google access
You can revoke access at any time in Google Account third-party connections. Also use Disconnect, revoke & delete local YouTube data in the app and stop any server worker using the same authorisation. Revocation prevents future authorised requests; it does not itself delete previously stored local/server data. Follow the deletion instructions above for those copies.
7. This website
This website has no account forms, advertising scripts, analytics trackers or application cookies. The web server may process IP address, time, requested path, browser information and errors to serve requests and maintain security. Routine website access logging is disabled in the supplied deployment configuration; diagnostic error logs may still be recorded. Contact messages are handled through email, not through a website form.
8. Third-party policies and updates
Google processes information under the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube use is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Optional Instagram use is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy and applicable Instagram terms.
We will update this page when the described practices change and change the effective date. Contact agataromansky@gmail.com with privacy questions.
